I cannot believe how often the comic strip Pearls Before Swine covers a theme that hits close to home as it does in this strip. This is me more times than I would like to admit.
Worrying is carrying tomorrow's load with today's strength - carrying two days at once. It is moving into tomorrow ahead of time. Worrying doesn't empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its strength.
