The Goals of the SAINT THERESA HERITAGE PARTNERS
A SAINT THERESA PARISH AND SCHOOL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
Father Robert E. Ray, Director
- to help our many former parishioners and their families stay connected to their spiritual roots.
- to preserve our sacred history and to help ensure its survival into the next generations.
- to assist our present parishioners maintain their present ministries and be able to afford to expand into new ones.
- to assist the parish in strengthening the faith and family life of its present members through support programs for married couples, singles, seniors, youth and the community at large.
- to assist in offering a gathering place for hosting formation programs from the diocese and community at large.
- to assist the parish by being an organization located within the present parish structures, not being an organization disconnected from, nor in competition with, the parish.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Thanks to a major monetary gift in honor of Father Knott and Father Ray on their 50th priesthood anniversaries, we will be able to begin work on our first project after the design is completed and we have the approval of the Parish Council and The Archdiocese.
You can help for now by signing up to become a member and telling other interested “alumni” of the parish or school about this organization. We will be publishing a newsletter (digital or printed) a couple of times a year. This newsletter will have information about our history, both in old photographs and in text. Beside sharing our history, we are planning on letting people from afar know what is happening at Saint Theresa today and in upcoming programs and events. While we are not primarily about “fund raising,” we will let people know what is happening so that, if they want to help this organization with its goals, they can. We are hoping for a few more major gifts. To discuss such a major gift contact: Father Knott jrknott@bellsouth.net or 1-502-303-4571.
To sign up to be a Heritage Partner contact Fr. Bob Ray: 502-216-9290 or rray@twc.com
