SAINT THERESA FAMILY LIFE CENTER
and RETREAT HOUSE
In 2021, after scaling back my involvement in the Caribbean Missions because of COVID and their volcano eruption, I began a project at my home parish of Saint Theresa of Avila in Rhodelia, Kentucky.
I worked on this project with my third cousin, Father Bob Ray, also from that parish, to transform our old Saint Theresa Grade School building, which had been vacant for several years, into a new Saint Theresa Family Life Center, and the old rectory into a new Saint Theresa Retreat House.
The project was completed in 2023, but there are always ongoing needs, especially in the development of programs for the youth, adults and seniors.
