SAINT JAMES CHAPEL DEDICATION SET

ALMOST THERE

FROM A DREAM TO REALITY

In faith we have set the dedication date.

September 18, 2017

I'll be there with Bishop County, his priests and deacons, diocesan lay leaders and guests.

AN EARLY ARTIST SKETCH
designer - Tim Schoenbachler, Louisville, Kentucky

AFTER MONTHS OF DELAY, PROGRESS IS BEING MADE

Saint James Chapel in the Kingstown Pastoral Center is finally coming together. The glass wall and the external replacement windows are in place.

Thee donated purple, upholstered, stacking chairs are in place, as well as some brass chapel furnishings, which arrived from Louisville in late July.  The altar, pulpit and credence tables are being built down there as I write this post.

SAINT JAMES CHAPEL in gold letters were installed on the wide rail above the doors this summer.

With the doors folded back, extra chairs can be added.

Chapel chairs from Brown Forman made their way down.

When the doors are folded back a double number of chairs can be used to make the chapel larger.

We are getting there! Waiting for the altar, pulpit and other furnishing to be finished!

Dedication set for September 18, 2017

We are almost there! It's almost paid for!
If you have a "James" you would like to honor, we can use some help to finish off some of the small things like Stations of the Cross, an icon of Saint James, candles, sanctuary chairs, a room air conditioner and the placement of a Mary statue.

If you want to help with the finishing touches,
