I wrote my weekly "An Encouraging Word" column in the Archdiocesan newspaper, The Record, for fifteen years from September 22, 2002 - September 21, 2017.
At the the end of each year, I published each year's columns in individual books called "For The Record" I-XV. At the end, all 15 years were published into 3 anthologies of 5 years each. Both versions, individual years or five-year anthologies, as well as all my other books, are available at Amazon Books though this link: ronknottbooks.com.
As of January 2, 2025, I have a total of 42 books published on Amazon Books. Only 4-5 are translations of other books into Spanish, Vietnamese and Swahili.
I started this blog, also called "An Encouraging Word" on August 16, 2015. On August 16, 2025, it will celebrate its 10th anniversary.
Today, January 2, 2025, I am posting my 1,986th blogpost so far. Typically, I post 4 times a week - a few times 5 or even 6.
Today, January 2, 2025, the number of views so far has been 544,052.
One cynical priest once said about me within hearing distance, "That Knott! He hasn't had a thought that he hasn't published!" He is known for his ability to withhold compliments from almost everybody, but he may be close to the truth for once in his life!
